The Ultimate in Bucking Bars

  • Small Tungsten Bucking Bar

  • Measures 5/8" x 1" x 4"
  • Slight angle on one end of the bar to make it versatile.

  • If you are a Vans Aircraft Builder, you will find yourself using This Bucking Bar most of the time.

At Oshkosh 2007 builders were continually dragging their friends over to show them the tungsten bars.  'Have you ever used one of these... you have to have one... you won't ever pick up another bar' are comments we heard over and over again. These bars don't show well on the web or in a catalog because you can't pick one up.  We had a steel bar that was big and awkward that was two and a half times bigger than the tungsten bar sitting side by side.  They weigh the same.  Our tungsten bar can get in to all kinds of spots and the rivets just melt under them. They are expensive, but they are well worth the money as they replace so many other bars.  Use our return policy and buy one to see if you think it's worth the money, if you don't send it back for a refund.

Good Tool

Works as advertised. I'm early in the build and only have 2 bucking bars - both tungsten. Plan to go with fewer tungsten vs many steel as the tungsten is more expensive but definitely worth the cost. I just think a little harder before buying one because of the cost.

Handles at least 95 percent of the rivets

Amazingly handy. It's perfect for at least 95 percent of the rivets. I was a cheapskate when I ordered my tools but got this tungsten bar for a Christmas present. What a great gift that is so handy. Amazing how much quicker the shop heads form when using this bar.
